A month or so ago Bryson tried to write onto Law Review. He was supposed to hear on whether or not he made it while we were on our way to Disneyland. As soon as we landed for our layover (maybe before they told us we could turn on
our phones) he hurried and checked his email. He got the following
email:
I am so proud of him. He has worked so hard.
This summer has been his busiest time yet in Law School. He has written so many papers
and is constantly reading for his classes. Bryson is doing the joint
JD(law)/MBA (business) degree. It is supposed to take 4 years (which we were planning) but he
would have been able to complete it in 3. In order to be eligible for
Law Review, you have to have over 1 year left. Bryson wrote letters and got them to amend their constitution in order for him to be eligible. So instead of taking
crazy amounts of credits next year, Bryson will take a normal full time
load. Then extend into December 2013 (which is still earlier than we originally planned). Even though we are staying longer,
this will be really good for his resume. It will be sad not graduating with all our friends that we started with, but we love Nebraska, so we are happy with that! :)
