BYU Basketball Game

A couple days after traveling to Utah we attended a BYU basketball game with the Gregory family. It was a lot of fun as usual. BYU barely lost. Akoy had a lot of fun playing with his cousins and grandparents. The grandparents gave in and bought the kids popcorn to share. (p.s. our target is turning their food place into a starbucks and a lady told me they might not have popcorn anymore! Akoy is going to die)  Lily actually enjoyed watching the game. I ran into a student that I student taught. It was weird she was already in High School. Where did that time go? It was such a close game. BYU barely lost. We had little pom pom things on our chair and Akoy loved waving them and cheering "Go Cougars!" This continued every time he saw the pom poms during the trip until we finally threw them away.

Afterwards we headed up to Fashion Place mall and had dinner at The Brio. It's a nicer restaurant, and lugging 4 kids in had me worried, but the restaurant was really good about it. They let the kids make their own pizza's and then were able to watch them cook in the brick oven. Most of the dinner Akoy just wanted to sit on Grandma's lap.
