Roca Berry Farm

 This weekend we went to Roca Berry Farms. It is always fun to get our husbands together and go for an adventure. We were supposed to go with a few more friends but it was getting hard to plan on a date that we could all go. We went with the Ellis', Simpson's and Halbasch's. Originally Roger wasn't going to go. First off, we had only decided to go the the farm that morning and then Roger was already going to the school to study. The rest of the guys decided to go convince Roger to come anyways. They even took Parker who was 4. Kids have better convincing techniques. It was a success! After some begging, they came out of the school with him.
We went to a different pumpkin patch this year and it did not disapoint! There were so many activities and different stations that the kids could play on. It was a lot bigger than the place we went last year. Some of the activitites were a life size candy land game board to play on, a bouncing thing, train rides, lots of slides, bowling with some chunks of wood, tricyles, little spooky things to walk through and a lot of other fun things. 
Akoy had a blast. I was worried because we went during nap time but he was a champ and was good the entire time. His favorites were the huge castle slide and the train rides. After going down the slide, he would try his hardest to climb the hill fast so he could go again. It was cute to watch his little body hurry up the hill. He really liked it all. Akoy tried throwing the bowling ball to hit the wood, but missed twice. Instead he ran up to them and kicked them all down. One way or another, he was going to get them down!
Lily slept most of the time with the exception of a break to eat. I think it was just a ploy to get her dad to hold her. :) She fell back to sleep shortly there after. I took a pain pill for some issues last night and it pretty much konked her out for the entire day. Ooops.


What good does a family activity do without a gazillion pictures?? Enjoy!
