Texas

While in Utah, we made the trip down to Houston for Bradley and Anna's wedding reception. Our bags got left in Colorado but eventually made their way to us. The first day we flew into Houston then drove 5 hours to get to Nottoway Plantation. Bryson's family went on a vacation and stopped by this plantation when they were younger.
Akoy was so excited to have a ticket

The Plantation was really neat, It was right on the Mississippi River. We took a tour and walked the grounds a bit. I wish we could have stayed longer. The next morning we drove 6-7 more hours to Louisiana to visit Kelley's Uncle Lenard. Then drove back to Houston that night. Lots of driving. The kids did fairly well in the car. Lily learned to hate the car seat during this trip.

While in Houston we also got to see where Bryson's dad, Keith grew up. We even knocked on the door and got a little tour of their old house. I guess they have gotten to know the Gregory's from everyone knocking on the door. There was a pond down the road that we stopped at for a bit.

The family all went swimming one morning at the hotel. It was fun to see Bryson have fun with all his siblings. They even synchronized a dance in the water! Bryson walked down the street and got us all Jamba Juice's. I think he thought it was closer, and took Akoy with them. They had an adventure getting back with 8 drinks!

Bradley's Houston Reception

Other adventures included going to Shipley's donuts, yum! Shopping at a big mall (I already forgot the name!), going through Bryson's brother, Brandon's old mission grounds, driving by the Houston temple.

Leaving Texas

What a fun trip! I love the photo of Lilly sleeping on your shoulder. It's pure chaos in the background but she is sleeping right through it :) Her Mini always makes an appearance. She must really love her.
