Today we went to Prairieland Dairy Days. It is about 45 minutes away in a town called Firth. :) Pretty much in the middle of nowhere! We parked about 10 minutes away at a school and then we road a bus into the farm. They had the elementary, middle, and high school all on the same grounds. (collaborations with other schools would be nice!) Akoy feel asleep right as we pulled up. A ten minute nap would just have to do.
They had lunch, tractor rides/tours, ice cream, a petting zoo, kids area, hay play area and a few other things! It was a lot of fun to go and learn a little more about farms. Akoy's favorite area was the 'corn' box. We had to drag him out of there. He could have played all day. Afterwards, Bryson decided that one day we should have our own cornbox. A few pieces of corn even made it home and into the bathtub!
We all had a great time, and we will be going back next year.

Looks way fun! I didn't even know about it. We will have to check it out next year.
Now I know you are truly in Nebraska!
yeah, what was it about the cornbox? I mean there were horses, hay castles, ice cream...but no, the cornbox was the most interesting. Oh, to be young again.
