St. George!

Akoy had his first vacation! We left Friday after school and headed down to St. George. Akoy was asleep when we picked him up from my moms house so he just slept while we finished getting ready. He started off by sleeping for a couple more hours in the car. (He loves the car. Usually he’ll just sleep) A couple hours into the drive he woke up, so I climbed to the back and had some fun.

I found out that he like to stare at my phone. Even the main screen. I would get a phone call and he would cry because he wanted to look at my phone. Cheap thrills!

After a little while he wasn’t very happy.. but that only lasted for a minute or so before he went back to sleep. (I love his pouty face!)

And we can't forget our wonderful driver!

Originally our plan was to stay with my dad, who was down doing work there. He ended up coming back early so we were left to stay at a hotel. They were packed! No where had rooms. Bryson and I were both calling places. Finally Kelley found us a place and booked us our room. We got there and what…?? Oh, they just double booked us. The found us a few smoking rooms other places but no thank you! After more calls, running into places we finally found a room at the Holliday Inn. The guy tried to haggle Bryson. It was kind of funny. He was trying to sell us the room. After resolving that we went to Pizza Factory to dinner. Yummy!! Akoy even got to enjoy some ;)

The next morning we slept in. We were trying to get ready so we put the TV on for Akoy. We very rarely do this. He was watching Play House Disney and every time one of the characters would go off the screen, he would cry! It was pretty funny! Here he is all set up.

We picked up the tickets for the concert and shopped at the outlets for a little shopping. We got Akoy a couple Christmas presents for a good deal.

I made Bryson go to In and Out for lunch! I love that place! It was sooooooooo oooooooo good!

Bryson’s family finally got there and of course we went to the outlets again. We were only going to be there for a half an hour. So, I didn’t bring any extra clothes for Akoy. But of course he blows out and we buy him another shirt. What a stinker! Already learning young! We had dinner at Iggys and then headed to the concert. It was really good. The 5 Browns are excellent piano players and make it fun to watch! We did have an awnrey lady in front of us though that didn’t think we should bring kids. She kept Shushing us. After the concert was over we kindly told her that we support our family and we would like to teach these kids to appreciate this kind of music.

We were going to go home early the next morning but strongly felt that we shouldn’t. We would have only had 3 hours of sleep and didn’t want to risk something happening. We traveled with both families back home. We had a little fun with some of the other cars ☺ Lets just say, we enjoyed our way back home even though we stopped 2 times in the first hour and a half….
