We left Akoy with Bryson's parents. We gave him a good day and a half to adjust to being away from home. He did pretty good with making a transition back in to a crib. It took him a few days to adjust to being up later than normal and then waking up on a normal Nebraska time. This made for some early mornings. We were really tempted to just bring Akoy, but I'm glad we didn't. It would have been hard for him to get naps and still be on somewhat of a schedule. Most of the grandkids were left behind as well.
We left American Fork Friday afternoon and made it down to Vegas that night. Matt works for Marriott so he hooked us up with a few hotel rooms. The rest of my family went down Thursday, so we met up with them for a buffet dinner Friday night. Dinner was pretty good. Unfortunately our family didn't get to sit all together and we ended up just eating with the brother I drove down with. We would see our families members in lines and we would recommend different foods as we tried them. Bryson got a little made fun of. He choose all the kid friendly foods. He is not much of a trying new and different foods guy. After dinner we walked around the strip and watched a few shows at the Belagio. It was so fun to be with all of my siblings.
That night all of our siblings just hung out in my parents room. My parents had all 8 of their children just hanging out and talking. It was so nice. We haven't had this in a long time and won't have it for awhile with 2 boys going out on missions. All 5 brothers were on one bed, and my sisters and parents were on the other bed. Many good memories were made that night.
Saturday morning we walked around one of the malls and did a little bit of shopping. Bryson and I indulged on a chocolate ghirardelli shake. It was delightful. Somehow my whole family ended up in Brookstone. Imagine that. We grabbed a group shot of all of the family members before the first car headed home. My brother Brett (and spouse and half of his kids), my sister Brooke(and youngest child) and dad headed back to get back to get other children and prepare a talk for Sunday.

Sunday morning we headed home with Brandon and Margot. Brandon is my second oldest brother and I don't get to spend a lot of one on one time with him. It was nice to chat and spend time with him.
